Life at the center is never dull that’s for sure! I woke up not feeling too well so I stayed in bed late this morning (8 15 opposed to 7 20… how scandalous!)I feel better but am still completely wiped out, I think it will be bed time for me by about 7 30 today haha.
I ended up going to the Ardillas’ room this morning to help with their baths and such. Of course everyone wanted “trenzas” so I did about 20 braids in a row, I’m getting pretty quick at them now! As I was about to start the last little girl one of the ladies came and found me and told me it was time for breakfast, She insisted I come eat right then even though I wanted to stay there. It was cereal, bread, and coffee, I don’t usually enjoy coffee but here I drink it anyways.
I walked into the Canary room and was so pleased to see my little Kaylee sitting in a bouncer on her own content. It was nice seeing her be happy elsewhere than someone’s arms. She still cries and screams in her crib, but it has only been 3 days, it is expected. Today was “La dia de mujer” (the day of the woman) so Lucky set up a table outside for the ladies at the center and had a party and some goodies. It looked like they had a lot of fun. The team left today for good and they head home to Florida tomorrow. I am both nervous and excited to be here alone (well without gringos) for 3 days. We will see how it goes. Tomorrow and Sunday are visiting days for the parents, so I look forward to seeing that.

This is Kaylee. Her torso about the size of one and a half of my hands at 1 and 1/2 years old. Wow.
