Today was another wonderful day filled with tons of excitement! This morning when I woke up I was greeted with a ton of food! I came here thinking that I would lose weight or not have enough to eat was completely wrong! The ladies in the kitchen had prepared me a huge meal of eggs, cereal and milk, and about 7 different kinds of bread and pastries to choose from. Wow!

We had a Piñata today to celebrate Lucky’s birthday, the kids loved it! From the Pollos’ up got to come out and watch and try to hit it down. The smiles on their faces were as priceless as they all raced to get the candy. The new little girl Kaylee is doing better and starting to adjust, but she is still having a hard time, I’m having a hard time as well not going to her and cuddling her (or stealing her and bringing her to my room) every time I hear her start to cry. On a bright note though, I got her to smile at dinner today! A great start for her here.

Little Madelyn has picked up on the “terrible twos” she has started saying “NO!” to everything and laughing as she runs away, still as precious as ever though. My goodness, Miguel Guamuich is the funniest little thing ever. Any time I walk into a room he is in he immediately yells “HOLA!” , waves, and runs up for a hug, then continues to say “hola” to me for about a minute after haha. The big girls are loving their braids and every morning ask for two braid for all of them which takes a fair amount of time as you can imagine, but they sit still for it and the time is definitely worth the smiles!
I am so beat today so I am going to sign off, can’t imagine how I’m going to feel after 6 weeks but I’m sure it will be worth every minute of sleeplessness and every ounce of bodily pain!
