Well today is the day that I take off on my journey to Guatemala but my heart is heavy. I was just informed by my good friend Olivia that my little princess Sandra has returned home while her brothers still remain at the center.
I have waited and dreamed of seeing her since I left and I am so sad that she won't be there. Every trip I have gone on down there Sandra was waiting for me to be cuddled and loved, it will be different and weird not having her there with me. I am hoping I may be able to visit her somehow at home, or hopefully she will come back for a check up or something while I am there.
I am having a difficult time letting her go without knowing if she is in a better place at home. All I can do is keep her in my thoughts and prayers, and I ask you to as well. Please keep Sandra in your prayers and myself as well, to give me peace knowing she is back with her mother.
