My Direct Link To Home

What a wonderful day today was! I woke up so excited to meet the new team. I ran around getting myself ready and fed and getting all the kids fed and bathed. When they finally got here at 9 am, I couldn't be more elated! The kids were so happy as well to have many more hands to held them. About 8 of the team members have been here before and they were the ones that were grabbing children left and right and looking and looking for their "special" ones. I had a great day getting to know the team and learning some of their stories!

This evening I got the chance to talk to a couple of my friends on skype from back home and that was really fun. Some of the ladies and kids even joined in which was lovely! we all spoke "Spanglish" haha. It is so interesting to think that even though I am so many miles away I can still talk to friends and see them!

I am going back to the hotel tomorrow night with some of the ladies so there won't be a blog, seeing as I don't have internet there, but I will try to do one the next day during the day sometime to catch up.

I also only have one picture today (I know, slacking!) But will get on it tomorrow!
