Yesterday Olivia, Alejandra, and I went into Guatemala City just thinking we would get some ice cream and go to the mall or something but as we were driving in get a super awesome idea! A theme park! SO... We went to Irta ot Mundo Petapa (not sure the official name haha) but whatever it was, was so fun! There were a bunch of kids on field trips but we still got to go on so many rides and still had an awesome time!
You will notice in the third photo I don't look super happy, that is because we are in a line to get on a roller coaster thing that goes 60km/hr.. and those of you who know me know that I don't really do roller coasters let alone the ones that are super fast and high.
You will also notice that I was the one taking the 5th picture.. It's one of those rides that shoot you up in the air then drop you... yeah... I didn't go on it... Mom, Think West Edmonton Mall but higher!
We left this morning for Panajachel/Lake Atitlan which is 3 hours from Antigua. Olivia's Family owns a hotel here so we stayed at this gorgeous lake today and have to leave tomorrow but had a great day walking around and site seeing. I can't describe the lake in full using words, so here are some pictures of our day - the first two being in front of Olivia's house before we left.
